I was born and raised i Northern Norway, close to nature, the written word, and the people I love most.
As an author I made my debut with poetry at the Norwgian publishing house Dreyer in 1988. My second collection of poems was published in 1991. Since then I have written fiction about elder care, schizophrenia and dementia. I have also written for children. In recent years I have been a lyricist in litterary/musical collaborations with both Norwegian and English texts.
I´m educated as a nurse and Gestalt therapist.
